Twilio is seeking a Data Science Intern to help scale the company’s rapidly growing global go-to-market organization by providing strategic insights to run the business. As a Data Science Intern, you thrive at wrangling large amounts of data and doing exploratory analysis and prediction. As a member of Go-to-Market, you have a demonstrated track record of excellence in communication and business sense.
Twilio is looking for an intern who lives the Twilio Magic and has a demonstrated track record of learning, growth, impact, and success. Ideal candidates:
- Are on track to receive a Master's Degree or PhD
- Have experience developing machine learning models and uncovering actionable insights
- Have a solid understanding of probability, statistics, and Bayesian modeling
- Can handle both structured and unstructured data
- Are fluent in Python or R, SQL, and data visualization
You will have opportunities to collaborate with the Pricing, Support, and Business Intelligence teams. You will get to use large amounts of data to increase customer lifetime value and inform business plans by:
- Designing and validating a predictive model
- Performing clustering, time series forecasting, natural language processing, or other analyses
- Creating data visualizations to inform data-driven decision making
- Feature engineering disparate data sets
- Ensuring data quality at scale

The GTM Operations team is crucial for the success and scalability of our sales, marketing, and support organizations. We are the custodians of the systems, processes, and data that power the day-to-day interactions across both GTM and Product, and lay the groundwork for future initiatives.
