We’re looking for a GPT obsessed engineer to build a next generation chatbot that delights customers with health and nutrition insights. Since launching our first chatbot style consultation in 2018, we have completed over 1 million user consultations. With the rapid development of GPT-4 and similar technologies we want to take our product to the next level.
Role Overview:
As the Lead Chatbot Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our health chatbot products. You will be responsible for driving the development, implementation, and optimisation of GPT-powered chatbots, ensuring they are user-friendly, efficient, and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of GPT-powered chatbots.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to ensure chatbots meet user needs and expectations.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in GPT and NLP technologies, and incorporate these into our products.
- Develop strategies for training and fine-tuning GPT models to maximize their performance.
- Ensure our chatbot products adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain user privacy.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, helping them grow their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other teams within the company to ensure the successful integration of chatbot technologies into our products and services.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
- Strong experience with GPT and NLP technologies, including hands-on experience with OpenAI's GPT models.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying chatbot solutions.
- Excellent programming skills in Python, and experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with chatbot frameworks and tools, such as Rasa, Dialogflow, or Botpress.
- Strong understanding of machine learning principles and best practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
- Passion for innovation and staying current with industry trends.
Bonus Points:
- Experience leading or mentoring a team of developers.
- Familiarity with other AI and machine learning technologies.
- Strong background in UX/UI design for chatbots.
- Experience working in a start-up environment.
