Role SummaryWorking as part of a team of Data Analysts, the successful candidate will ensure that accurate, timely and consistent data is collected and made available for various products. The successful candidate will be required to take ownership of queries received for data contained within the various D&B Databases and be willing to take action. Key Responsibilities· Responsible for the research and response to data queries (aka ‘investigations)Quickly gathers complete and accurate information by checking multiple sourcesNotices and acts upon discrepancies and inconsistencies in available informationSeeks out knowledgeable people and asks questions to gain informationHas an awareness of commercial factorsCarefully weighs the priority of tasks, organises work appropriately, and adapts as neededHigh attention to detail. Consistently monitors, verifies and delivers a high quality of work on timePerforms Quality Assurance reviews on transactions per the prescribed processCommunicates and interacts with stakeholders and customers and builds rapportIs comfortable making outbound callsRemains calm and professional in the face of adversity
Key Skills Required· Excellent PC Skills (MS Suite) and use SQL and various analytical programs such as R, SPSS, or Python for analysis of data.· Experience in programing and scripting languages such as Python, C#, JavaScript, or equivalents· Speaks and writes clearly and concisely; can be easily understood· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and listens/responds constructively to others· Continuous improvement mindsetDemonstrative Behavioral CompetenciesAsks probing questions and summarizes what others have said to verify understanding and prevent miscommunicationWorks collaboratively with others to provide the best solutions for customersNot afraid to constructively challenge and be challengedShares his/her expertise and knowledge with othersAppreciates the importance of the wider team (i.e. global)Ability to self-manage and achieve objectives with minimal guidanceCarries his/her fair share of the workloadIdentifies what needs to be done and takes action before being askedDoes more than what is normally required in a situationPersists to achieve goals in the face of obstacles and frustrationsTakes responsibility for own mistakes; does not blame othersIs open to changes in the working environment, for example, new organizational structures, procedures and technology.Adapts approach when an initially selected one is unsuccessfulIs able to see the merits of perspectives other than their ownProactively seeks opportunities for learning and developing themselvesQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Social, Business, or related field. 5 years data analysis work experience in an analytical/quantitative role.Fluent in English.Experience of working in a large team is desirable but not essential.Experience in Financial Industry.Hands on experience with Big Data/NoSQL Platforms with experience delivering production projects at scale.Background in data mining, modeling, analysis, cleaning, data error correction, and visualizationFamiliarity with tools currently used by the Business Development and Technology Integration Office such as WordPress, SharePoint, Power BI is desired, HTMLIdeal candidate is a self-starter, problem solver, data driven, process driven operator with strong verbal, writing, and communication/presentation skillsGlobal Recruitment Privacy Notice
