Job Description

Experian India is looking for a Java Developer and Data Analyst to join Credit Bureau technology team. The candidate would possess a strong analytical mind, be a technical and creative thinker, have a strong aptitude for problem solving, and have zero tolerance for inefficiencies in software development. The ideal candidate will have excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, along with the fervent desire to continuously learn about different products and technologies.

What you’ll be doing

• You will be a part of the matching and development team who is responsible for analyzing the data and suggest solution to achieve desired outcome.
• You will also be working on development of application using Java technologies.
• The role involves foster teamwork follow through on commitments and ensure all stakeholders are appropriately informed on the status of projects, problem resolution and any technology or billing related changes.
• Oversee and manage budgets with optimum allocation and utilization of technology resources and talent.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, methodologies and strategies.
• Manage issues proactively including timely resolution and the identification of remediation opportunities.

• Someone with a good 3 to 5 years of experience as an Analyst developer.
• Oversee and manage budgets with optimum allocation and utilization of technology resources and talent.
• Analytical mindset and enjoys learning & solving complex problems.
• Collaborate with teammates inspecting and adapting everything within the system
• We are looking for an individual who is energetic, engaged, and willing to actively participate with the right positive attitude.

More about you

• Comprehensive knowledge of information technology more specifically around domains on application development and cybersecurity
• Primary Skills required – Analytical Skills, ability to analyse, model and interpret huge amounts of data, good at data analysis and exploration
• Expert on platforms like SQL / Hive, Excel & R or Python
• Sound knowledge on statistical analytical techniques and predictive analysis, Helping develop reports and dashboards.
• You should have fair experience working on Java Web Services: SOAP & REST. Experience with XML and JSON and Familiarity with Source Control Tools (Bitbucket, Git) & Containers and Microservices Architecture and Cloud services (AWS preferred)
• You should have hands on experience on with at least one Database (DB2, Oracle, Mongo DB, Cassandra etc.)
