The Bosch unit in Braga belongs to the Automotive Electronics division and is focused on making the vehicles our third living space. Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

  • Design and apply data modeling processes to create algorithms and predictive models and perform custom analysis;
  • Ensure data quality and integrity;
  • Interpret and analyze data problems;
  • Test performance of data-driven products advising and implementing improvement actions;
  • Create reports and dashboards using visualization tools for predicted information;
  • Experiment new models and techniques focusing on solving business process problems;
  • Align data projects with organizational goals;
  • Present and discuss results with stakeholders finding improvement opportunities in a pro-active way.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • Background in IT, data or computer science, Mathematics;
  • Good knowledge on data science methods and techniques such as statistics, machine learning and deep learning;
  • Good knowledge on statistical computing and data analytics including scripting languages like R or Python;
  • Proficient in multiple types of databases, SQL and NoSQL, including modeling and write/execute complex queries;
  • Experience with Big Data ecosystem (HDFS, HIVE, Impala, HBase);
  • Good knowledge of data management and visualization techniques and tools (Spark, Tableau and Power BI);
  • A knack for statistical analysis on business processes and predictive modeling;
  • Ability to work with unstructured data to unravel insights that can be useful for decision making;
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to acquire more knowledge, being able to ask questions about data;
  • Communication skills.
