Are you looking to work with a dynamic team of industry leading professionals in the HEOR space? Are you a statistical programming wizard ready to unleash your data skills to analyze Global Health data? Our HEOR Value and Access Strategy team is hiring an Associate Research Scientist to join our team of research professionals advising clients on strategies for economics and outcomes research, evidence gaps and publications.

This is a fully remote position.

About You:

  • You are a programmer with experience building analytic files and developing algorithms based on a specified protocol under direction of senior team members.
  • You have proficiency with SAS or R and have had experience working with health data.
  • You are able to work successfully in a team-based environment, with the ability execute on programming tasks independently.

About The Role:

  • As an Associate Research Scientist on a Research Programming team, you will be supporting multiple projects comprised of cross functional staff, serving to create the analytic dataset and execute on planned analyses.
  • You will help support the delivery of components of projects by collaborating with other staff members to ensure high quality outputs and client ready deliverables, including contributing to the development of protocols, results decks, and technical reports.
  • As a member of the Research Programming team, it is an expectation that you are proficient in SAS and potentially R.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Informatics, Biostatistics or a Related field
  • Proficiency with SAS or R
  • Understanding of common statistical methodologies and applications
  • Willingness and desire to learn and share knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a diverse team
  • Pays attention to detail and performs quality checks of own work

Helpful Experience:

  • Graduate degree in a subject related to health services research e.g., health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health
  • Willingness and desire to learn and share knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working with health datasets
  • Experience working with SQL, AWS, GitHub

Precision is required by law in some states or cities to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.Reasonable estimate of the current range$84,000—$117,000 USD
