About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join us at an exciting time as we are at the start of our journey to modernise our reporting platform to the latest industry standard reporting structures. As a Data Analyst you will be migrating our legacy QlikView reporting to Power BI – these reporting tools play a critical role in supporting the whole business and support decision making and KPI tracking.

To be successful as a Data Analyst you will have experience of migrating from historic reporting platforms and ideally have QlikView knowledge. More importantly you will have a positive attitude, whilst being flexible and adaptable to support the department and wider business.

As a Data Analyst you will

  • Be responsible for maintaining all business data sources’ integrity, report code creation control and protecting the live system from defects.
  • Manage the data source relationships and support existing SQL Data Warehouse
  • Working with report users to manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and fixing any defects identified.

Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Solid 3+ years of hands-on experience
  • Expert SQL server administration 2012 onwards.
  • Advanced/Expert Power BI experience - Design, build and deploy Power BI solutions.
  • Build and design experience- Data Interfaces, data loads & reporting queries, Microsoft SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS, SSRS), Data Integration APi's.
  • Advanced SQL programming language - SQL/T-SQL scripts.

Desirable Requirements

  • QlikView experience - Design, build and deploy QlikView solutions
  • MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Administration
  • MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Development
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform
