R&D Data Analyst

AppsFlyer is known for its massive backend production and data pipelines. On any given day, thousands of servers are processing 200+ billion events and crunching petabytes of data in our cloud. AppsFlyer runs a variety of data analytics and machine learning algorithms on those billions of mobile events to provide mission-critical information and actionable insights to its customers in a company that is known for its high standards and people-obsessed culture.

We’re looking for a talented individual with a pioneering spirit to join the R&D Analytics and FinOps team and help ensure R&D makes data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, with a passion for slicing and dicing data. We are looking for an exceptional analyst who can distill numbers into actionable insights that will guide R&D toward the right direction

What you’ll do:

• Create impactful data reports from conceptualization, data extraction, data analysis, to deliver clear and actionable insights for our different Engineering processes
• Define KPIs and create dashboards to monitor them, such as effectiveness, efficiency, quality, cloud cost, quarterly planning, and more
• Communicate data findings to engineering teams and serve as a point of contact for all analytical questions

What you have:

• 2-3 years of experience working as a Data Analyst position in the high-tech industry
• Excellent SQL skills
• Experience with Looker/PowerBI/Tableau or other similar data visualization tools
• Technical/ analytical approach, passion for numbers and data
• Degree in Industrial Engineer, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a similar field
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English with the ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights
• Independent and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
• All-in approach with high accountability, sense of ownership and passion
• Great communication skills and presentation abilities

Bonus Points:

• Experience in defining KPIs and tracking it
• Experience working with AWS services
• Knowledge in programming, especially in Python
