Job Description

What you get to do in this role:

Interact with stakeholders in departments across the company, identify opportunities which can leverage NLP and Generative AI to enhance our business, match the optimal AI techniques to the specific business needs, and then build the models that get the job done. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to go from end-to-end in the process, from recognizing a problem to implementing the solution, and integrating it with the business teams. You will:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and use NLP and generative AI to enhance customer experiences
• Design, develop and implement NLP and generative AI solutions for various projects and initiatives
• Research and evaluate new NLP and generative AI technologies and techniques for ServiceNow’s customer-centric use cases
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the capabilities of NLP and generative AI solutions
• Prepare technical documentation and presentations to communicate NLP and generative AI solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Mentor and train junior team members on NLP and generative AI techniques and best practices

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

• Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on NLP or NLG
• At least 5 years of experience in NLP and/or NLG, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects
• Strong understanding of Large Language Models(LLM) algorithms, architecture and technologies
• Excellent programming skills in Python
• Experience on fine-tuning and deploying pre-trained LLMs such as BERT, T5 and OPT is desirable
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, able to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.

Desired skills:

Special consideration for applicants experienced in implementing NLG or Generative AI for Customer Journey, marketing or sales processes.
