About the Junior Data Quality Analyst role...
The Enterprise Data Management and Analytics (EDMA) team at SiteMinder is thecentral BI and Analytics team catering to all analytical needs across the company. Thisprofile would play an important role as part of the core Data Quality team which is partof the EDMA.
The Junior Data Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the continuity of data qualitymainly by executing BAU or daily deliverables such as cleansing Salesforce Accounterrors and errors captured by the Data Quality Standards. The incumbent shall makeuse of both internal and trusted external data sources to ensure that the database isupdated with complete, accurate, valid, and timely data.

What you’ll do…

• Cleansing data errors by researching and collecting data from external sourcesand detecting logical or correct data which can be pushed into the targetsystem.
• Collaborating with Data Quality Analysts to improve data cleansing activitiesand report unusual data gaps.
• Adhering to best practices in data analysis, quality, and collection.

People who are successful in this role..

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with an ability to researchexternal data from trusted sources.
• Knowledge in Google Sheets or MS Excel to process large data sets.
• Outstanding attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines given that recordsshould be converted from Low to High Quality in terms of Completeness,Accuracy, Consistency, Validity, and Timeliness.
• Ability to maintain top performance over time despite executing recurring day-to-day tasks.
• Understanding of agile processes and awareness of best practices in dataquality analyses.
• At least 1 year of experience in data analysis.
• Experience in Data Quality is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Salesforce is also a plus.
