Data Visualization Specialist

We currently have a vacancy for a Data Visualization Specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Valencia. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Build interactive and complex data visualizations and analysis tools (e.g., dashboards); as well as create and edit visual content including maps, charts, and graphs;
• Assess customer requirements, determine technical feasibility and document results as well as Draft technical specifications based on functional requirements;
  
• Ensure in-depth unit, application and integration testing as well as assist in the creation and enhancement of design and development standards.
  

Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with minimum 5 years of experience in data visualization and BI reports development;
• Excellent visual skills, including demonstrable design knowledge, such as layout, typography, colour, interaction design and fluency with BI tools;
• Strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL scripts, SQL Server Scripts, HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
  
• Expertise with charting and other data visualization techniques;
• Relevant experience and high proficiency in MS SSRS, SSAS, Power BI and Excel;
  
• Experience with the complete systems development lifecycle process;
  
• Working knowledge of MS SSIS and SharePoint;
  
• Ability to write detailed documentation (use cases, configuration instructions, and models);
• Excellent command of the English language.
