We specialize in the digital transformation of learning programs and the empowerment of talent to excel in an increasingly complex global environment.The role of Learning Data Analyst involves unearthing Learning needs that require data analysis, analyzing and interpreting educational data to improve learner, trainer and client experience, and using data analysis tools and techniques to ask the right questions, shape hypotheses, draw insights and make recommendations for product development. You will also be responsible for selected data visualization projects and reports, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

Data Analytics

  • Work with Learning and Data teams to design, create and maintain data workflows and processes, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ask the right questions of business stakeholders (predominantly the Learning team) to uncover known and unknown problems and turn these into hypotheses for testing.
  • Use statistical analysis and data analysis tools and techniques on learning data to draw insights, evaluate hypotheses, design metrics and make recommendations for product development.
  • Regularly collate and analyze user feedback and offer engagement, progress and performance analysis for real-time insights and trend and pattern identification.
  • Support the Learning Impact and Experience teams to deeply understand data trends and possibilities in the EdTech industry and the latest research in the field.

Data Visualization

  • Create (or work with BI team where appropriate) learner, trainer and client data visualization dashboards and reports.
  • Build an understanding of, and present to stakeholders, various learner profiles resulting from data.
  • Use available tools to present data in a clear and actionable way, focusing on key insight.

Stakeholder management

  • Communicate data insights and recommendations to relevant stakeholders (e.g. Product Communications) in plain language, helping to distill the right message for the right audience.
  • Collaborate closely within the Learning team and with the DataOps, UX and other relevant teams to improve hypotheses and help unearth the right data.
  • Inspire the wider team to be data-savvy and offer support to make data-driven decisions.

Skills

  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Jaspersoft
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge / experience of SQL, Python etc.
  • Proven experience in statistical analysis (examples welcome)
  • Interest and awareness of AI-powered data tools and trends highly desirable
  • C1 level of English required

Education & Experience

  • Degree or certification in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields – or verifiable relevant, sufficient work experience
  • At least 3 years of experience working with data analysis or research-related roles
  • Background in EdTech, learning engineering or learning sciences

Details

  • Location: Home-based
  • Travel: Ability to travel 1-2 times a year, typically within Europe 
  • Schedule: +/-2-3 hours of European time zones 
  • Contract: Full-time
