Job Description

We are currently looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to expand our North America team! In this role, you will report directly to the Global Director, Marketing Strategy and Process where you will be a highly valuable member of the NA Marketing team.

In this role, you will hold co-responsibility for marketing systems and processes around material master data in North America. The role will have a global component to it, as expertise gained towards processes and system execution will be leveraged throughout the Bosch Automotive Service Solutions Business Unit of the Aftermarket Division.

You will work closely with Sales and Product Managers across product and service segments as well as other functional areas of our North American business, such as Engineering, Logistics, and Packaging functions, to improve our ability to activate new part numbers for customers, govern processes, and maintain our product portfolio master data.

As Marketing Data Analyst, your duties will include:

  • Business unit representation in North America for global material master data, which covers product lifecycle management, product information storage, vehicle data, and enabling transition to new toolsets where applicable
  • Training and support for regional product owners on systems and process
  • Material establishment and maintenance of data integrity
  • Creation of process documentation and collection of master data, and how it is input into associated systems for use globally
  • Maintenance of key performance indication for product lifecycle metrics related to North America
  • Surface analytical insights: proactively identify opportunities for optimization and investigate root causes of aberrant data
  • Analyzing current and historical data for reporting and KPIs to uncover insights about our products and customers
  • Identify new questions or problem areas for marketing and select the appropriate analytical methods and models
  • Create tools and systems to streamline and improve data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Distill large datasets into actionable insights for teams by building dashboards in reporting/analytic platforms for proactive and reactive needs
  • Lead cross-functional work streams to unify and improve data availability to and from new tools and sources by collaborating with Marketing, Finance, Sales, CX, and Product teams.
  • Translate data and information into compelling insight stories that drive business decisions and growth by developing visually appealing report findings and presentations

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required (BS or BA) in related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Systems acumen around ERP systems and Excel required
  • Strong desire to investigate current process operations and improve them
  • Self-learner, ability to work both independently and lead team efforts
  • Must be able to travel internationally, up to 5% travel
  • German language skills are a plus

  • This individual can work at either our Owatonna, MN or Plymouth, MI location
