The Role

Lead and oversee the US vertical in the area of scoping and delivery of bespoke data science solutions for clients with initial focus on the retail and financial services industries.  Responsible for project delivery regarding data science governance, commercial applications, client engagement, test-and-learn execution and team oversight. Responsible for business development by working with prospective clients on bespoke data science solutions across all viable industries.  Work with internal sales team to formulate tight scoping parameters, deadlines, associated resourcing and cost’s structure.  Oversee and execute on actively deploying all billable resources within the team, with an eye to meeting client commitments, facilitating growth opportunities for key staff, aligning on geographic and time zone disparities, prioritizing R&D and/or product build opportunities.

Requirements: 

Specific Requirements:  US or foreign Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Studies or other closely related field of concentration

Experience:  8 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Scientist, Actuarial Consultant, Data Analyst, Statistician or other closely related occupation or position.

Education or Experience must include:

1. Possesses broad set of data science experience, specifically in the field of innovation and across multiple industries and clients.
2. Experience in other industries including media, telecommunication, insurance, health, dor come and/or airline industries.
3. Experience in team leadership and supervision of projects within a team.
