Working within our Professional Service Business Unit as a Data Engineer, this position will suit someone who can provide architectural and data engineering subject matter expertise in our client projects.

You will join a highly experienced team in our Data & AI practice who are supporting Sword’s clients on their journey to become data driven organisations.

Requirements

The person must have:

  • Solid knowledge working with enterprise data solutions and data platforms
  • Solid knowledge working with cloud technology preferably MS Azure and Power BI
  • Relevant certification aligned to data engineer development paths would be an advantage - Microsoft data & AI services – ideally professionally certified on Azure (best certification paths are Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Analyst)
  • Good knowledge in data modelling, data transformation techniques and data security


Responsibilities include:

  • Working on high profile projects with well-known clients across various sectors
  • Desire to continue professional development to be able to support with the latest technology
  • Working directly with clients to translate business requirements into data solutions
  • Taking ownership for the delivery of core solution components
