We are looking for an experienced leader in the field of marketing analytics and data science. If you are an analytics leader who knows how to set clear, long-term goals with the know-how, numbers and leadership skills to support them, then read on!

In this position, you will:

  • Drive the creation and implementation of the analytical vision, the most valuable development direction and execution plan in the marketing department, in order to maximise the investment efficiency of the marketing budget
  • Be responsible for ensuring a world class data-driven culture in the Vinted Marketing department
  • Build and lead a team of analysts, data scientists, specialists and team leads. Mentor and develop growth plans for those on the team.
  • Create and enable training programs for analysts/data scientists
  • Own the building of the methodology of unified analysis processes
  • Create requirements for needed tooling to ensure fast and efficient analysis and value creation from data and help implement them

We expect:

  • Leadership experience. Preferably leading teams of 9+ members, including team leads.
  • You are a conceptual thinker and are able to see the bigger picture and strategise based on that.
  • You have experience in building analytical marketing strategies and implementing them
  • You have a strong background in analytics/data science and have at least 5+ years of experience in marketing analysis, building marketing business cases and models to optimise overall budget.
  • Deep technical knowledge of up-to-date analytical/data science tools and methodologies
  • You are able to motivate and inspire others
  • You have experience working in a tech company
  • Your track record is everything but average, school and career results must clearly show you out-perform the average by a large margin
  • Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Business or any other related field. An equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable for the position

The salary range for this position starts from EUR 5,785 upwards, depending on level of experience and location.
