We are looking for an engaged and enthusiastic Senior Data Engineer to join our brand new Telemetry Platform Team !We make the pattern « You build it, you run it » a reality for the Products teams and make them more autonomous, allowing them to create better products and solve customer problems faster.

How you will make an impact:

• Build the brand new Telemetry Platform : You’ll build a strong data science platform that will allow Talend teams (Data Engineering, Professional services, Customer success, Sales, Marketing, Product managers…) have a better understanding of the Talend Data Cloud Platform usage from its customers, and Data Scientists team to develop ML based services for the Talend Data Fabric.


• Deliver best-in-class solutions: Work with top notch data technologies for Data ingestion, Data batch and streaming processing.Data governance, Data advanced analytics and ML solutions. Collaborate with Data Scientist/analysts to develop and deploy ML models and services and deliver relevant insights and dashboards


• Be a team player: Support the data scientist and the business in delivering seamlessly solutions that will help to have a better understanding of our Cloud platform usage. Promote new technologies, methods and raise awareness around new technologies and innovations

We’re looking for a teammate who is a:

• Creative solution builder and passionate about Data Engineering! That includes experience in defining and evangelizing optimizations and best practices to build performing and scalable Data ingestion, processing,analytics/ML platforms


• Experienced in Data engineering (we use state of the art open source data technologies such as the Apache Data ecosystem in a cloud native environment) and software development (Java, Python) as well as with automating cloud-based technologies, deploying applications


• Which also means working knowledge of Cloud deployments (AWS/Azure) and Container/Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes DevOps ecosystem).


• Autonomous with strong interpersonal & communications skills, also familiar with Agile contexts.
