Senior Research Engineer - NLP

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Research Engineer with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to prototype solutions quickly and also help take them all the way to production.

You will: 

• Conduct research and experimentation to develop innovative NLP and LLM approaches to solve immediate business problems.
• Train, fine-tune, or use pre-trained language models to be deployed for various language-based features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NLP and LLM models into production systems.
• Develop tools and frameworks to facilitate the training and evaluation of NLP and LLM models.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research in NLP and LLMs and incorporate new techniques into our models and systems.

You have:

• Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with a focus on NLP and LLMs.
• At least 3 years of experience in developing NLP and LLM solutions, with a track record of building and deploying NLP and LLM models at scale.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Experience with large-scale data processing, distributed systems, and cloud computing.
• Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and linear algebra.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The salary range for this position is between $175,000 to $200,000 per year.
