The Business & QC Analyst role will work with the IT Governance and Client Services team and will be responsible for requirements gathering, data analysis, data and reports validation, use case validation, and documentation (end user and technical/functional).
The success of this role is dependent upon the candidate’s ability to understand end-user reporting needs, communicate the needs effectively to report designers and developers in writing and verbally, and apply test and validation processes to ensure that IT is efficiently delivering a high-quality result that meets requirements.
Requirements
- Candidate MUST be US based
- Capture business requirements and document in an understandable format for end-users and IT team members
- Create a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for customer reporting needs
- Understand the big picture and value delivery while focusing on efficiency and optimization
- Create simple reports and dashboards to help guide decision making about what to build or fix and how
- Create and execute test cases or scenarios, applying a methodical process to test data inputs and outputs
- Identify and document defects found during testing, and be able to subsequently retest those defects once they have been resolved
- Partner with business users and report developers to find root causes of reported issues and support report developers with the reproduction and resolution of defects
- Support and drive to conclusion user acceptance testing cycles
- Participate in and/or lead efforts to develop release and training documentation
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and five years of relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of work experience with Global Enterprise systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, Adaptive Insights, or comparable large scale CRM or finance systems
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong organization skills, self-directed
- Proficiency in Business Analysis and requirements gathering
- Proficiency with data analysis via Excel using formulas, lookups or other advanced functions; experience with SQL, TSQL or derivatives (SOQL, SAQL) is a plus
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Analytics Studio (advanced user, not builder/developer level)
- Quick learner who is flexible, dependable, capable of multi-tasking, and able to learn complex concepts
- Ability to converse with and understand perspectives of a wide array of roles and people with diverse backgrounds throughout a complex organization
- Strong problem solving and communication skills, with ability to communicate concepts to audiences with mixed levels of technical & business knowledge
OPTIONAL - Desirable (but not required):
- Business Analysis certifications
- Salesforce Certifications
- Experience and working knowledge of NetSuite and Workday
While this is a remote position you might be asked to meet in the client's office periodically. This would not be more than few times during the contract length
