The team builds Self-Service analytic solutions for Selling Partner and Seller Experience teams that enables business users to make quick and data driven business decisions. As a founding member of the team, you will work alongside product management, research, design, and other engineering teams to define and build the essential lovable product. You will own a team responsible for creating reliable, scalable, and high-performance software utilizing a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science. You will have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define product features, drive the system architecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.

Basic Qualifications


· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 7+ years industry experience
· 2+ years of hands-on experience hiring and managing teams of Engineers and 5+ as a hands-on Engineer
· Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
· Proficiency with at least one Object Oriented language (e.g. Java, Python, Ruby)
· Highly proficient in SQL and knowledgeable about data warehousing concepts.
· Working knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile
· Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency and drive.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
· Effective analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications

· Extensive experience working with AWS with a strong understanding of Redshift, EMR, Athena, Aurora, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Lambda, S3, EC2, etc.
· Extensive Experience with Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Pig, Spark, etc.)
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex technology solutions to senior leadership, gain alignment, and drive progress
