Job Description

As an intern for AI research engineer, the candidate will work on developing AI methods, solutions towards automation in waste sorting and autonomous disassembly process in e-waste management. The candidate will assist in

• Performing 3D scanning of E-Waste such as automotive parts, washing machine, Air Conditioning
• Post-processing Point Cloud data from the 3D scanning
• Implementing object detection, segmentation algorithms for 2D and 3D data for product and part identification
• Integrating implemented algorithms into UI Software
• Ad-hoc support for setting up demo to VIP guests, visitors
• Conducting research on AI for automated disassembly
• Closely communicate with other teams and presentation slides

Qualifications

• Able to work full time for a period of minimum 6 months (i.e. May 2023 onwards)
• Undergraduate/graduate studies in related field Machine Vision from Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Advanced knowledge in Machine Learning, Deep Leaning, Computer Vision, 3D sensors, Deep Learning framework like Tensorflow/Pytorch
• Good programming in Python, C++
• Independent learning and self-motivated
