The Master Data Analyst will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of SAP/SPP Master Data & reporting analytics in the Service Parts team. In this role, the candidate will be collaborating with business, operations interfacing with Material Planning, Distribution, NPI, EDI, SAP/IT to drive the implementation and scaling up of our SAP plan to ensure effective Material Master data management capabilities. This role uses analytical skills, business acumen and SAP solutions to seamlessly integrate SAP into the business environment to achieve strategic business goals & track teams’ performance Key responsibilities:·       Document and analyze SAP current business processes and underlying systems/applications·       Participate in the NPI process to create and drive the essential material master attributes impacting cross-functional teams·       Identify and drive KPI’s on master data gaps and recommend key enhancements to SAP/SPP user experience·       Review accuracy of MRP runs and escalate anomalies for pro-active methods of issue resolution·       Support monthly MM refresh to ensure inventory parameters and Safety stock is supporting future forecast needs·       Develop creative exception & backlog reporting/ visual dashboards to track teams to the overall business objective·       Maintains master data operations (SOPs & SLAs) by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes·       Researches industry best practices, SAP Methodology, principles, concepts and techniques·       Take ownership of alignment between SAP & PFEP(Plan for every Part) material master data·       Monitor key demand/supply demand shifts and develop easy-to-use feedback tools to improve reporting What you’ll need·       Minimum of 5+ years of business analytics experience in OEM, Consumer goods, E-Commerce industries. Automotive experience strongly preferred.·       Bachelors in Supply Chain, Logistics,IT/Information systems/business analytics. Masters preferred·       ERP/SAP/SPP/IT implementation or supporting role under NPI setting experience strongly preferred·       Strong familiarity with BI tools, advanced Excel skills and reporting/data mining (SQL/Python/XX/XX//XX preferred) ·       Team-oriented and collaborative attitude·       Familiarity with Bill of Materials, supplier scorecards, ASN/EDI, P2P Material Master Data THIS IS WHERE YOU’LL WORK:Department: Service Parts Location: Irvine, CA RIVIAN DESCRIPTION:Rivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever.
