Where You Fit InWe are seeking a highly motivated data scientist/ bioinformatician with solid programming skills. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of molecular biology, human genetics, and basic statistics, and will take on tasks spanning bespoke analysis of experimental data, data visualization, genomics data processing, and experimental design.

What you will do:

  • Analyze high-throughput experiments to assess data quality and identify hits.
  • Support preclinical development programs with computational analyses.
  • Build tools to automate recurring data analysis.
  • Collaborate with machine learning scientists and engineers to build tools to streamline design of antisense oligonucleotide compounds

What you bring:

  • BSc in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Two years of relevant postgraduate experience or a graduate degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Understanding of basic concepts in molecular biology and human genetics at the undergraduate level or higher.
  • Solid statistics knowledge with ability to perform various statistical analyses independently.
  • Solid knowledge of the Unix shell, Python, and Pandas.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving work environment.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with R and cloud computing.
  • Experience with human genomics data (including next generation sequencing).
