Director, Technical Program Management – Data Science

Biofourmis’ technology is applicable to a multitude of different therapeutics areas. We are building out a dramatically expanded suite of solutions to address heart failure, oncology, and infectious diseases. Notably, Biofourmis offers turnkey solutions, including wearable devices, cloud infrastructure, and advanced AI/ML. As Director, Technical Program Management you will play a key strategic role where you will use your deep experience in Technical Program Management to represent data science function in sales, business development and customer engagement, and lead our products to technical and market success.


Responsibilities

  • Communicate commercial/roadmap solutions’ functionalities, capabilities, efficacies and data science nuances to technical and non-technical audiences in commercial and customer engagement meetings.
  • Gather design, input, output, data–requirements and customer needs for commercial engagements and algorithm/product development.
  • Work with Business Development, Commercial, Customer Success, Engineering, Product Management, Clinical and Regulatory teams, to formulate project proposals, get consensus, and drive execution plan.
  • Take leadership role in the execution of agile development processes, working with the cross functional teams to drive day to day execution of project deliverables.
  • Define and execute to project plans for medical device prototypes and products.
  • Define and execute to strategies for enabling the commercial teams, including documentation, presentations, and training materials.
  • Take responsibility for product success, measured by revenue success/customer adoption and customer satisfaction.


Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in customer facing, developing and commercializing novel algorithms and technologies into digital healthcare products and programs or pharmaceutical programs.
  • PhD/MS in Biomedical Engineering/Medical AI and business background or equivalent experience in engineering and an MBA.
  • Expertise in signal processing and machine learning, feasibility/development/validation study designs, statistical and performance analysis concepts.
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, presentation, and decision-making skills.
  • Professional project management skills – preferably, PMP certified.
  • Demonstrated experience with medical 21 CFR 820 / 13485 / 62304 / Medical devices regulations.
