Job Description

  • Be part of our team and contribute to the development of next generation PEMFC for automotive application.
  • By applying your stack knowledge, you represent the interface between unit cell and system at Bosch Corporate Research.
  • You determine cause-effect relationships between cell design/operation parameters and performance/degradation to actively give input to unit cell and system development.
  • Furthermore, you derive and implement lab tests based on field load profiles, deduce operation strategies and assess PEMFC performance, lifetime and development trends. Accordingly, you derive measurements and conduct in-depth interpretations of the results.
  • Last but not least, you work efficiently within an international team of researches and engineers and collaborate successfully with external partners from academia and industry.

Qualifications

  • Education: very successful studies in the field of Process, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, PhD in the field of PEMFC is advantageous
  • Personality and Working Practice: passionate, highly adaptive to changes, structured, committed, team-oriented as well as cooperative
  • Experience and Knowledge: profound knowledge on PEMFC/PEMFC stacks  and their design, operation strategy and interaction with the fuel cell system, experience in scripting, test-bench operation and data processing is beneficial
  • Enthusiasm: strong interest for new and unconventional solutions
  • Languages: fluent in English (written and spoken), German
