Job Description

As an intern Data Scientist in HDD IIoT and Big Data Analytics team, you will be part of a team that develops and maintains analytics/machine learning solutions and also does embedded firmware to support the optimization of HDD  product/process.   Key responsibilities include: 

• Introducing and testing new analytic ideas/ML algorithms
• Undertake data pipeline building, data preprocessing and analyze large amount of data to discover patterns
• Develop/maintain innovative and implementable analytic solutions
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams

Qualifications

• PhD or PhD candidates in Computer Science and Computer Engineering
• Experience in ML/Deep Learning modeling and algorithmic optimization (python preferred)
• Proficient in Python and C++ programming
• Good understanding of statistics and linear algebra
• Committed and ability to deliver results with tight schedule
• Experience in neural network design for engineering applications is desired
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
