Senior Data Scientist

The Predict group was founded 2 years ago, with the mission of leveraging AppFlyer’s data to assess campaigns’ success and user potential.
Our group mixes disciplines from classic back-end engineering, big data, Machine learning, and of-course front-end engineering. We use modern industry-standard tools such as Spark and Hadoop for big data, Airflow and Dockers for ETLs, Tensorflow and keras for ML, and many more.
As a data scientist tech lead, you will be leading the research and development of all ML-based predictive models and algorithms.
Our tools of the trade are (partial list): Spark, Scala, Tensorflow, XGBoost, Python, Pandas, and friends.

What you'll do

• Own and develop AppsFlyer’s predictive analytics products and features end-to-end, from design to production
• Solve diverse complex problems at a large scale
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to deliver complex products
• Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies in the everlasting effort to perfect our products and adapt to the ever-growing scale.
• Understand the business and product needs and transform them into successful scientific and production-ready solutions.

What you have

• At least 10 years in Data Science/Algorithmic development.
• Strong engineering background.
• Strong mathematical/analytical capabilities.
• Ability to define and lead large projects.
• Proven public documentation capabilities.
• Ability to mentor others, work in teams, teach, and learn from peers.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
• B.Sc/M.Sc/Phd in Computer Science/Physics/Math or equivalent from a top university.

Bonus Points

• Coding experience with Python or Scala
