Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

- Responsible for solving logistics business challenges using data-driven approaches;
- Blending logistics process knowledge - especially in logistics planning and physical logistics - with data & methodology competence in data science and automation;
- Main contact person for process experts with respect to data analytics and -services solutions;
- Development of system- and process concepts in Logistics jointly with other business teams;
- Implementation, improvement and product ownership of developed solutions and processes;
- Communication & training of product- and development results to stakeholders;
In addition;
- Creation of high-quality finished-goods customer allocation forecast for critical materials, considering multiple data and information sources;
- Standardization and scaling of forecast creation process across multiple business divisions and product areas;
- Tracking of forecast execution by the Bosch plants;
- Precise and reliable communication with X-divisional / plant logistics, sales and allocation managers to ensure data consistency and reflection of up-to-date information.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

- Very good knowledge of logistic planning processes and -data structures;
- Good knowledge of relevant data sources;
- Very proficient in data processing tools. Optimally knowledge in Python (esp. Pandas) and Jupyter;
- Knowledge of Oracle SQL, Power BI , Knime, Physical Logistics and/or Operations Research & ML algorithms would be a plus;
- Entrepreneurial mindset;
- Strong communication and decision-making skills;
- Fast-learner and target-oriented;
- English (fluent).
