Job Description

Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Gather the requirements from the business users, traders, analysts and/or backend developers in the team. Work on data engineering tasks using python programming language and big data framework – pyspark. Use data distribution framework Hadoop and non-relational database. Build complex distributed modern data platforms. Design, migrate existing systems. Design, construct and manage the data lake environment including data ingestion, staging, data quality monitoring and business modeling. Drive collection, cleaning, processing and analysis of new and existing data sources, including oversight for defining and reporting data quality and consistency metrics. Scripting using python programming language. Handling errors and debugging production issues in real time to minimize outages.

Qualifications

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field followed by two years of experience in the job offered or two years of experience in a related occupation.

 Experience must include one year in each of the following:

1) MySQL        
2) Hadoop        
3) Azure Data lake storage       
4) Azure SQL data warehouse  
5) Azure Databricks      
6) Hive 
7) Autosys       
8) Pyspark                   
9) GitHub         
Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.  

Additional Information

Pay Range: $75,000 - $146,000 

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
