Product Data Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTIONSupernova is looking for a Product Data Analyst with passion, drive, and focus to join our SaaS Platform team. This role would be working closely with our product managers, other departments and customers to analyze product data to make recommendations to improve our products, as well as better communicate the planned changes to all downstream stakeholders.   This position requires strong analytical, communication and organization skills. The individual will be responsible for supporting client implementation projects, validating new methodologies and features, and derive insights from data with complex structure and source.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop a strong technical understanding of Supernova’s product and platform by working closely with our team and our customers  
• Work with product managers to define testing and validation plans for new analytical models and perform testing and analysis
• Carry out data analysis, comparison, and validation for product deployment projects for new clients to ensure high quality contents and functionalities
• Collaborate with other product managers and leaders to synthesize complex product requirements leading to a value-added platform initiative  
• Evaluate new features and enhancements on Supernova’s platform ensure they meet internal and external defined requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Math, Analytics or related fields; Master’s Degree preferred
• Proficient in SQL and MS Office Suite (especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint); Knowledge in Python is a plus
• Highly analytical and quantitative thinking
• Self-starter with high level of motivation and detail orientation
• Experience in financial services, wealth management, or education industries preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
