Senior Data Scientist (Computer Vision)

What you will do

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist in Computer Vision and Machine Learning that will help us discover the deep insights hidden in image and video data, and help us create disruptive financial products. Your primary focus will be in (1) contributing to our breakthrough R&D in ekyc project, (2) applying Computer Vision and Machine Learning techniques, and building high-quality Computer Vision systems integrated with our products, and (3) assisting Data Scientists in fundamental research.

Your primary focus will be:

• Work closely with Business Units to identify and answer important business and product questions. Communicate insights to executive leadership
• Apply rigorous analytical methods and analyze levers that can drive growth and profitability across our product and services offerings and customer segments worldwide
• Research, evaluate, implement, and present statistical methods to provide actionable insights
• Define new metrics and help drive the business/engineering team using the right metrics
• Research new ways for modeling and predicting user behavior
• Influence goes to market strategy, by category, by business unit, and customer segment (where applicable), worldwide
• Research, design and implement data models and cutting edge algorithms to analyze diverse sources of data
• Work with high dimensional image and video data to build practical vision systems that have direct impact on revenue and bottom line
• Manage and coach other Data Scientists

What you need to have

• PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, experienced in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Image Processing
• 7+ years of experience in advanced Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Image Processing
• Must be proficient in Python and experience with ML framework: Tensorflow, Pytorch, ONNX.
• Experience with managing data science and computer vision toolkit, such as JupyterHub, CVAT, OpenCV... is a plus
• Experience with Deep Learning frameworks (Torch, Tensorflow, etc) and Computer Vision/Image Processing libraries (OpenCV, etc)
• Extensive experience in solving  object detection/tracking/segmentation/classification or other problems in Computer Vision and Machine Learning.  Experience working in fraud detection, OCR is a plus.
• Deep understanding and experience in Deep Learning techniques and deep network architecture.
• Experience working with large data sets and large-scale Machine Learning/Deep Learning systems.
• Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner with both technical and non-technical customers
