Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, test, and deploy data pipelines to ingest new data assets into our core operating database.
• Support efforts around data profiling, mapping, and lineage; data transformation and creation; and data and business inquiry resolutions. 
• Implement data pipeline ingestion solutions in AWS cloud, analytics data stores in advanced analytics platforms.
• Review the quality of data provided by insurance companies, both in transactional detail and in aggregate.
• Work closely with subject-matter experts to create well-defined data dictionaries.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all processes/programs supporting organizational goals.
• Understand and take ownership of our business processes and recommend improvements in data management, error identification, quality control, process automation, or analytic techniques. 

Qualifications

• Interest in developing data products, with emphasis on data collection, validation, and transformation,
• Fluency in English is required,
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative data analytics, using SQL and Python,
• Experience working with either of the following: SQL Server/Oracle/PostgreSQL/Snowflake,
• Strong verbal and written communication, listening, and effective summarization skills,
• Detail-oriented technical aptitude with solid logical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent organization/planning skills and talent for managing many large and complex datasets,
