  • Developing strong partnerships with key decision-making business stakeholders
  • Serving as data experts and advocates during both strategic planning and day-to-day operations and helping lead a global effort to document our data and metrics
  • Generating recommendations and insights on how we can best grow our business

What we're looking for:

  • Candidates who are motivated by creating change with data through tools, models, and visualizations. We strive to approach problems with curiosity and empathy, and make a measurable impact for our customers and business.
  • Able to develop and implement metrics and dimensions for powering analytical use cases across the company, incorporating a wide variety of data sources across the company at varying levels of complexity and scale
  • Able to work closely with data stakeholders across the company, both technical and non-technical, to understand evolving needs as more complex data models are introduced for reporting and data science

What we'll expect from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative fields;  or equivalent experience. Preferred: Master or PhD level
  • Track record of developing in complex data environments and intelligence platforms for business users
  • Experience designing and building dashboards in BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI.
  • Experience with analytics databases like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
  • Proven experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, and R
  • High-Performance Computing (HPC) MPI programming in either C++ or Fortran is a plus but not required
  • Developing tools using containers such as Docker and GitHub for source control
  • Fluency with software engineering processes such as version control, testing, and continuous integration
