Job Description
Lastminute.com is looking for a Data Engineer for its Payments, Analysis and Reporting team. He/she will construct, develop, optimise and maintain complex data structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Ingestion from fraud/payment providers
- ETL & Reporting tool usage for Analysis and Report creation
- Internal support on reporting and result's analysis
- Support on key KPI's creation and elaboration through data extraction
- Management, as unique Payment Operation interface, of the relation with DWH & BI & Product Developer
Qualifications
Essential
- Very good SQL
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Programming skills (Python, VBA or similar)
Desirable
- Vertica (big data)
- Tibco Spotfire (reporting)
- Talend (ETL)
- Linux
- Html
Additional Information
Qualities
- Degree level qualification in University education in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related subject
- Great deductive, organizational and learning skills.
- Dynamism, proactiveness and curiosity.
- Conceptual as well as structured thinking and working in a dynamic and complex environment
- High analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Very good team and communication skills
- Fluency in English is essential - a good level of Italian would also be desirable, though not essential
