Job Description

To extract, transform and load correct customer contact information and research reporting using approved relevant sources for extraction/analysis as defined by Market Research: Customer Data Management in order to support market research contact requirements.

To ensure that the data loaded for Research Agencies to use when contacting customers is in line with defined criteria and reconciles back to the relevant sources that it was extracted from.

The MIS Data Manager is responsible for supporting the PBB SA Market Research team with timely Extraction/Reporting/Analysis/Dashboard solutions using PowerPoint/Excel/Word/SQL Server/SSIS/SSRS/QlikView/Power BI, MS Excel, SAS and similar Business Intelligence tools.

Adheres to the customer information extraction governance standards that are defined in line with business rules that are built into the data source.

No variance between the extracted and distributed customer data and data in the original source

Adherence to the customer data extraction governance standards

Data requirements execution

Extracts, transforms and loads customer data from relevant sources in order to satisfy customer data requirements as defined by Business and Market Research.

Ensures that the extracted data is loaded onto the approved file sharing systems that comply with customer data protection and privacy standards.

Reports any technical malfunctioning of the customer data extraction that threatens adherence to business and compliance requirements to the line manager.

Measures:

Timeous escalation of customer data extraction technical malfunctioning

Timeous data availability, accessibility, and usability for CHNW SA Market Research

Loading of customer contact data onto the external research supplier file share platform

Loads customer contact data from relevant sources (e.g. SAS libraries, SQL, manual files, etc.) in order to ensure a single input source for Market Research measurement.

Validates and reconciles the data back to the relevant sources (e.g. SAS libraries, SQL, manual files, etc.). Adheres to validation standards as stated in the governance framework.

Ensures that the data extracted, transformed and loaded is automated where possible and writes automation codes accordingly.

Measures:

Stakeholder feedback on quality of data

Availability of customer contact data to answer business questions

No variance between data sources data and data loaded onto supplier file share platforms

Reporting & Automation

Creation and maintenance of customer data extraction scripts and reports as required for Market Research measurement

Manages the consolidation of all relevant customer information for Market Research purposes.

Provides and adheres to customer data reporting requirements and standards as stipulated in the service level agreement (SLA); measurement governance framework

Provide continues improvement customer data extraction, reporting and distribution.

Continuous generation of both periodic and ad hoc customer data extraction requests.

Analyze business customer data information requirements to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness.

Puts plans in place to automate all standardized reporting functions
