What you’ll do:

• Define, innovate, and shape the architecture for new data products and features
• Lead and be deeply involved in modeling data of new products
• Take part in data engineering vision & roadmap across teams (Data Engineering, Clinical Quality, Infra, and Data Science)
• Be the domain expert in our division for Data Engineering solutions & technologies
• Hands-on development of our core Data Infrastructure & tools, to support all data usage across the company, including machine learning research, product analysis, etc
• Create interfaces between different groups within the company in respect to working with data

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience managing relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, etc.).
• 2+ years of experience in Python
• Experience with frameworks and methodologies for working with large data sets, such as BigQuery, Apache Spark, and NoSQL databases
• Experience in ETL development (design and implementation)
• Experience with public cloud providers
• Experience building systems from the ground up

Bonus:

• Experience with DBT/Dataform
• Experience with standardized medical data models (SNOMED-CT, LOINC, RxNorm, etc)
• Experience with EMR data
• Experience with graph DBs
