Senior Front-End Developer and Point Cloud Data Expert

We are seeking for a Senior Front-End Developer who has a great understanding and expertise in Point Cloud Data. This role will be leading the development of a web application with capabilities of displaying and processing point cloud data. The successful candidate will bring new ideas, add new capabilities, and enhance existing ones, considering the user experience.

Requirements

Your main responsibilities will be;

• Developing a modern, highly responsive, multi-lingual SPA web application with WebGL capabilities,
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use,
• Analyzing, cleaning, processing and displaying point cloud data,
• Drawing and interacting with 3D models,
• Preparing insights using various interactive charts,
• Participating in full life cycle software development tasks,
• Working closely with design teams and business owners to define, design, and implement features,
• Operating in agile teams and working independently as needed to solve complex problems,
• Strengthening and improving the architecture of our front-end,
• Delivering fast, clean, and scalable front-end code,
• Collaborating with other developers and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that the final product meets their needs,
• Continuously learning and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in point cloud data processing and visualization techniques.

What you need is;

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable university education,
• At least 5 years of experience in frontend SPA web applications development,
• Prior experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, ReactJS, ReactJs Hooks, Context Providers, Typescript, ES6, HTML5, CSS3,
• Solid foundations in Software Engineering, data structures, algorithms, and architecture,
• Great understanding of point cloud data and 3D vectors,
• Good level of experience in processing, cleaning, and registering point cloud data,
• Familiarity with point cloud data visualization libraries such as Potree, PCL, and Open3D,
• Experience with point cloud tools such as CloudCompare, MeshLab,
• Experience in creating, manipulating and interacting with 3D meshes,
• Experience with 3D libraries like BabylonJS or ThreeJS,
• Experience with front-end tooling such as Webpack, Babel, ESlint, Parcel etc.,
• Understanding of version control systems like Git,
• Strong skills of troubleshooting and debugging code to ensure optimal performance.
