The Position:
Makpar has an exciting opportunity for an AI/ML Developer to join our growing team. We are seeking an experienced AI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, with a strong background in programming, data analysis, modeling, and software/application development. If Sklearn, PyTorch, Keras, TensorFlow, LSTM, LDA, anomaly detection, entity extraction, summarization mean something to you, then you may be a great fit in our organization!This role will be involved in developing innovative AI/ML enabled solutions for industry specific issues.  Our projects will demonstrate the art of the possible to our clients. They enable us to create new intellectual capital and capabilities and to develop new thinking and models that will help us solve critical problems that our clients will face in the future.

Role Specific Duties:

• Hands on development, prototype, and productionizing AI-enabled solutions on cloud platforms i.e., AWS
• Conducting quantitative data analysis using a variety of fused datasets by applying information retrieval, analysis, and visualization processes
• Demonstrated ability to think critically about a problem and work with a team to develop a solution.
• Applying machine learning methodologies to continuous time-series data
• Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies and methods (e.g., Classification, Topic Modeling, Entity Extraction)
• Increasing the efficiency and quality of the discovery process by tightly integrating automated processes, AI/ML techniques, and human expertise
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning and apply them to projects

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in AI and machine learning development
• Demonstrated skills with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB), and familiarity with standard data processing packages (e.g., NumPy, Pandas)
• Experience working with modern frameworks like Keras, Tensorflow, PyTorch, and MXNet
• Experience developing and deploying solutions on AWS platform.
• Theoretical understanding of model architectures of various object classification, object detection models, recommender systems, NLP, Text and voice processing models, 3D models
• Understanding of performance and accuracy metrics for different class of neural networks. Familiarity with industry standard models and datasets and neural network tuning a plus.
• Familiarity with basic machine learning methods (e.g., Classification, Clustering) and modeling frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn)

Desired Skills
• Experience with open-source application development stacks
• Experience with Container Services & Registries to Serve ML Models in the Cloud
• Use Terraform & Jenkins (or similar) to Setup Automated CI/CD Pipelines       
• Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., Oracle, MySQL)
• Ability to work in a team environment.
