About the Role

The Pure Storage Marketing Operations team is looking for a Senior Manager, Contact Data Strategy, who will report to the Director, Marketing & Campaign Operations. This role will be responsible for the implementation, execution, governance, and KPIs for the global marketing contact data strategy, as well as marketing data vendor management. 

About You

You are a leader, and a team player with experience working and collaborating with cross-functional global teams. A problem-solver, idea generator, strong communicator and self-motivator, you have experience working in Marketing/Sales, in B2B tech, and a passion for marketing data strategy. 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Strategize, implement, and govern a person-to-account process and contact data strategy
  • Prioritize and communicate marketing data initiatives, as well as maintain a roadmap for data management improvements
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, such as Sales Operations, Data Science, Marketing and IT teams, and ensure visibility into marketing data and architecture changes 
  • Evolve data enrichment and lead routing processes with our vendors, as well as manage vendor relationships and contracts
  • Define and document marketing data quality KPIs, inclusive of accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, validity, and uniqueness 
  • Communicate data management status, progress and success

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science or Business 
  • 8 to 12 years experience in Marketing, Sales, B2B and/or Tech. 
  • Proven experience driving data quality initiatives, joining data from disparate systems and finding new ways to enable and empower a data-driven marketing organization
  • Experience with B2B data platforms such as ABM, DMP, or CDP, plus Marketing systems such as SalesForce and Marketo
  • Ability to work with business owners and data consumers to define KPI and reporting requirements
  • Ability to provide a vision and act as an advocate for data management
  • Roadmapping, prioritization and business alignment to ensure the right strategy is defined
  • Creative problem-solver, customer focused, process-oriented, strong leader, strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively 
  • Able to work effectively within a fast-changing environment, tight deadlines, priority changes and multiple constituencies
  • Technical skills such as SQL, Python, R/SAS/Stata are a plus, but must be very experienced with XLS

The annual base salary range is: $86,000.00 – $185,000.00 Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
