Job Description

This role contributes to Our Purpose by using Digital Technology to build smart solutions for our business and customers. Responsible for enablement of the Advanced Analytics Team by developing platforms and processes to allow the delivery, as well as contributing to productionising existing DS solutions.

The Opportunity

A member of the Advanced Analytics Team and reporting to the Advanced Analytics Manager your focus will be to partner with the broader Digital Community to deliver value through the implementation of Advanced Analytics projects, together with creating tangible business value through the planning, managing and delivery of high-quality applications and digital solutions. 

You will provide hands-on technical leadership in design and implementation of Data Science & AI ecosystem including platforms, tools, and processes.

Other responsibilities include:

• Contribute to evolve team coding and deployment standards and frameworks to keep pace with industry best practices;
• Through cross discipline collaboration, ensuring ML platform follows best practices in areas such as networking, data engineering and integration;
• Help to design and implement approaches that improve automation, reliability, supportability, and performance of Data Science applications.
• Help to align BSL ML Deployment capabilities with industry best practices
• Design commonly used modules to improve productionising of Data Science applications and coach the broader team to utilise.

Qualifications

You are a natural problem solver, can think outside the box to use technology to create simple solutions to complex problems.  You will be working with cross functional teams and will have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

• Strong knowledge of Cloud architecture and capability is essential and you will be collaborating  with Networking and Security functions
• Excellent coding skills, Python & SQL is a must, others optional
• Experience in designing and implementing complex cloud solution through infrastructure as code.
• Cloud (Azure/AWS/ GCP) commercial experience / professional level certification
• Experience in building production grade ML pipelines in Azure DevOps. 
• Experience in building production grade Python Data Science applications..
