Job Summary:

Carries out the day to day tasks required for maintaining a clean and usable database and works cross functionally to both deliver data driven insights and collaborate on special projects.

Essential Functions:

  • Process deal memos and related documents to capture deal terms for investment data records and valuations efforts.
  • Research, retrieve, and backfill missing investment, portfolio, demographic, and legal data.
  • Monitor internal investment deal workflows to identify potential portfolio valuation impact or transactions to record.
  • Monitor and advise interdepartmental data contacts to ensure proper data input; identify and recommend new ways to streamline data input.
  • Perform analysis of data and trends to proactively deliver insights about operational performance and identify opportunities that can drive improvements.
  • Design and implement user-friendly reports and dashboards, as well as the associated data pipelines, to deliver insights and enhance the workflows of internal teams.
  • Drive the development and delivery of projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, operations research, data science, mathematics, engineering, or another field with quantitative roots.

Experience: 2 or more years of full-time experience in a management consulting, VC/PE/IB, accounting, or data function in a multinational company, professional firm, or high growth technology startup

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Python or R programming, data or business intelligence (BI) certification or evidence of self learning through online courses.
  • SQL
  • Working with databases and CRM software
  • Python or R programming
  • Any BI tool e.g. Google Data Studio, Tableau, PowerBI
  • Working with databases and CRM software, preferably Salesforce
