Job Description

Curinos is seeking an ambitious Data Quality Analyst to join our Systems Analysis team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to help financial services companies leverage our data and turn insights into action. No day will feel the same in this fast-paced role as you will be involved in Curinos’s Lending division. 

This team member will be responsible for the quality and consistency of the data throughout our customer-facing platform solutions. Achievement in this position will be driven by the candidate’s ability to expand and optimize our data quality processes and infrastructure across functional teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems for quality and building initiatives from the ground up.

The Data Quality Analyst will be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of optimizing and re-designing our company’s data quality architecture to support our next generation of insights and products.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Serves as a leader for building and implementing new data quality management services and tools and enhancements of existing processes needed by the data processing and product support teams
  • Works with leadership to develop and maintain a structured matrix for aligning identified data quality defects
  • Works collaboratively with technology team to build specifications and requirements for proactive data quality management
  • Assists in designing new quality reporting and remediation processes by leading tasks such as analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications 
  • Proactively solicits internal feedback for ongoing improvements and enhancement of data quality services 
  • Champions the integrity of our data assets and products

Qualifications

  • Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
  • A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets
  • Strong organizational skills, with proven ability to manage own time and work to deadlines
  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to present actionable insights to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Effective at prioritizing workstreams across dynamic demands
  • Advanced working knowledge SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Python are highly preferable
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a quantitative field is highly preferable

The salary range for this role is $64,980K to $72,200K.
