THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN...

The Mission of Data Analytics is to enable company drive business insights based on reliable and scalable data assets.

Key focus will be on combining multiple data sources, design scalable data models and transform data into business valuable information with actionable steps & recommendation. Data Analyst will play essential role in building new companywide reporting. This includes designing and implementing unified reporting layer and implementation of new BI Tooling which is now being selected.

You will work on initiatives like:

• Our Data Platform was awarded by Microsoft as best Data & Analytics solution in Czech Republic, help us with future development and utilizing full potential of top notch technologies 😊
• Customer segmentation - Understanding customer behaviors and needs so that we can define patterns for specific segments. Drive product adoption and increase of product usage across defined segments.
• Pricing strategy – evaluation and prediction of pricing components in order to determine optimal revenue generation.
• Implementation of Enterprise level KPIs is one of key company priorities and critical part of our future growth. Analyze and ensure also long-term decommissioning of currently existing reporting solution.

YOU WILL DO:​​​​​​​

• Elicit business data requirements, identify data sources and required data elements, perform data validation and integration activities.
• Translate business data needs to specific technical requirements and tasks.
• Design scalable data models which will be used as single source of truth for companywide reporting.
• Be able to do exploratory analytics and digest value from new and unknown data sources.
• Design, build, maintain companywide reporting using new BIT Tooling.
• Together with data engineering build robust and maintainable data pipelines.
• Diagnose data quality issues using formal problem-solving techniques and probe underlying issues to generate potential solutions. Make recommendations and guide corrective and/or preventive actions.
• Write and document results of your work to make them easily understandable to other colleagues.
• Meet with the skill matrix and achieve level of your position.       

Qualifications

YOU WILL NEED:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the area of business intelligence, data analytics or data engineering
• Solid understanding of data integration tools, ETL/ELT processes, data modelling concepts and data warehouse architecture
• Experience with Azure Data platforms or similar platforms like BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.
• Good knowledge of database principles, strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages used for data manipulation and data analysis
• Inquisitive, analytical problem-solving mindset
• Fluent English
• Knowledge of SQL and Python as an advantage
