What is a Data Scientist?As a Data Scientist at KKCompany, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing scientific research projects and data models to improve the performance of our streaming quality and service. 
You will work closely with analytic partners, domain experts, and other stakeholders to analyze complex datasets and make data-driven decisions that drive business growth.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in at least one scientific discipline that applies to KKCompany’s business challenges, as well as a broad knowledge of data structures and algorithms. They will understand algorithmic and implementation trade-offs and be able to effectively communicate their findings to a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the design, development, and execution of scientific research projects and data models
• Implement models and algorithms to improve the performance of existing systems, processes, and products
• Perform data analysis and provide visualizations to support decision-making
• Analyze complex datasets used to make decisions regarding real-world applications
• Use modeling, simulation, and optimization to design processes, algorithms, and prediction/classification systems
• Investigate the applicability of new approaches to business problems and products by combining theory and experimentation
• Write software code that is built and deployed in production systems
• Solve analysis problems that improve KKCompany’s products and advance our scientific knowledge
• Quantify business impact and influence go/no-go decisions on corporate initiatives

Requirements:

• Have the technical competence to perform advanced analytics: coding skills (such as Python, Java, and Scala) and experience performing analysis with large datasets, analytics tools experience (Pandas, R, SQL, or Hadoop)
• Have the ability to condense analysis into actionable insights to inform business decisions and influence; understand business models and high-level strategy.
• Possess statistical competence; demonstrated experience with hands-on statistical modeling (such as regression modeling, a/b testing, significance testing etc), knowledge about machine learning (such as predictive modeling, decision trees, classification models, and clustering techniques)

Nice to Have:

• Operating experience designing, integrating, and visualizing data reports using analytic tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Firebase.
