Who we are looking for

We are looking for passionate, multi-talented IT professionals with a strong technology background, as well as a great propensity for creative problem solving. Joining our local Scrum teams based in Athens, the successful candidate will work closely with domestic and international development teams in exciting and challenging projects!

Requirements

The ideal professional has to possess a strong foundation in data management and software engineering and is willing to learn more and adapt to a modern development process using the latest tools to deliver high-quality solutions. More specifically, the necessary tech requirements which are aligned with the tasks and accountabilities are outlined below:

• Relational data modeling for Transactional and Data Warehouse schemas
• SQL Programming and Optimization
• ETL design and development
• Data Integration patterns
• Programming using Java ecosystem tools
• Some understanding of Column Stores and modern binary file formats for optimal data storage (parquet, avro)
• Knowledge of Stream processing and Event Sourcing

In addition to your technical skills and knowledge, we pay attention to the following :

• Precise and efficient communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• A disciplined approach and ability to work with cross-functional multicultural teams
• A desire to keep learning, growing, and coaching others
• BSc in Computer Science, or other related fields
• More than 4 years specific experience
