Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Commission Data Specialist assists the Commission Database Manager in the completion of processing and validating the commission data in the CoStar Brokerage Applications/ReApplications commission management system. The role also provides day‐to‐day technical assistance to end users and stakeholders including transaction coordinators, analysts, brokers, accounting and payroll personnel, and Stream management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Thoroughly review leases, Broker Deal Sheets, Summary Reports, and Rent Schedules. Cross-check relevant data for completeness and accuracy.  Contact stakeholders for clarification or information, if necessary.
• Enter lease and deal information into the ReApps commission management system in a timely manner.
• Provide and forward information to the Payroll team, and Corporate Accounting team. Offer assistance to other stakeholders as requested.  
• Reconcile data or accounts as required.
• Troubleshoot and report system issues.
• Assist in the preparation of training materials.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis as required.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE 

• Experience reviewing and abstracting commercial real estate leases; Understanding of leases and commission agreements
• Accounting knowledge and reconciliation experience
• Critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Strong Attention to Detail
• Deadline-driven and Pro-Active mindset
• Excellent customer service skills
• Organized                                                                            
• Strong MS Excel skills, and the ability to download or extract system data and manipulate using Excel
