Data Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our data team. The successful candidate will work closely with our data engineers and analysts to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
• Write, maintain, and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to identify and address data-related issues
• Monitor and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure data integrity and availability
• Document data pipelines and processes
• Continuously seek to improve data quality and efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. computer science, data science, engineering)
• Experience with SQL and at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
• Familiarity with data engineering frameworks and tools (e.g. Apache Spark, Hadoop)
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. DOMO, Tableau, Power BI)
