Job Description

  • Drive the Data Management function currently and not exclusively, covering data review/change, edit specification, end of study activities related to data archive (including sending a copy of trial data for each site to each PI)
  • Awareness and adherence to the appropriate regulatory requirements, Good Clinical Practice and industry best practices
  • Represent Data Management at internal and external meetings providing advice and direction in line with the Business
  • Support the growing and changing needs of the business while driving and maintaining data quality and integrity
  • Own and develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance integration
  • Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and document
  • Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations
  • Communicate key insights and findings
  • Evaluate, analyze and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis and maintain systems processes with the intention of improving existing systems and processes
  • Line management
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Direct eCOA DM experience
  • Practical experience in generating process documentation (including test scripts) and reports
  • Line management experience
  • Approximately 10 years’ experience in Data Management within the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • In-depth knowledge of data standards and best practices within Clinical Research
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to define innovative solutions that meet the business/regulatory needs 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and Google suite

Education, Certifications, License:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
