The role

We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join Isla! This is our first Data hire and there is room to grow with us as we look into establishing our Data & Insights function in the future. The role will focus on providing insights into the live operations of our product, whilst also driving the delivery of organisation-wide business intelligence which will shape strategic decisions across the company.

The role is dynamic, and will be varied as you focus on supporting several teams with their data needs. The ideal candidate for this role will be highly analytical and passionate about how data is collected and utilised, as well as able to build great relationships across many parts of an organisation.

Who We Are

Isla is building the visual component to the healthcare record. We provide clinicians with the platform they need to receive, review and store images and videos directly from patients. This provides valuable clinical context for decision-making whilst delivering convenient care for patients, empowering clinical teams to deliver responsive care with fewer appointments. The Isla platform is intuitive, endlessly scalable, and approved by NHS Digital as a cloud storage solution.

We are a small, growing team dedicated to improving healthcare. We are ambitious, customer focused, and driven by the impact we are having in healthcare. We’re also a well funded startup, which brings a level of uncertainty, but also brings agility and growth opportunities unlike anywhere else.

Over the next 12 months you will:

  • Take responsibility for processing and supporting publicly available data to support our product and frame tech adoption in healthcare
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales, Product, Delivery & Engineering teams to understand their data analytics needs
  • Own modelling usage targets and product utilisation
  • Distribute and collate data to enable better decision-making
  • Model revenue projections to support our further expansion
  • Provide input into our impact and KPI reporting
  • Actively input into company strategy and steer key decisions

Requirements

  • 2 + years as a Data Analyst (or a similar role)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with data
  • High proficiency in using Excel as a data reporting tool
  • SQL know-how is desirable, but training can be provided
