Job Description

Responsible to drive advanced customer, account, transactional and geographic insights and quantitative analytics. This includes the development of statistical and mathematical models and prediction of key parameters, trends and behaviours to support CHNW SA in their strategic and tactical initiatives. To create a Visual Analytics infrastructure and capability which enables real-time visualisations, analytics and exploration in order to support business hypothesis testing and data driven strategic initiatives. This is done on a proactive and reactive basis leading to significant increase in business outcome, and achieving a high level of data commercialisation.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

  • Honours Degree in IT/Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial/Engineering or related degree

Experience

  • 5-7 years' experience in advanced analytics, combined with sufficient knowledge of products and customer behaviour in a financial services environment. Significant exposure to propensity, attrition, CRM and leads management, next-best action and segmentation models, as well as behavioural analysis.

  • Strong knowledge SQL and various SQL RDMS (Teradata, Microsoft, etc)
  • Understanding of reporting systems (QlikView, Power BI, etc)
  • Strong knowledge of Python/R/SAS
